It's easy to overlook things that just happen naturally like our ability to see, hear, go to school, shop, travel, receive love from friends or family, talk on the phone about only God knows what, etc. So let's be sure to count our blessings and give thanks to the One who makes it all possible.

You don't know what you have until it's gone. Sometimes we have to have something taken away from us in order for us to realize how much we cherish it. Freedom is so easy to take for granted, yet so devastating to have taken away.

This IS a wonderful reminder of our everyday blessings (and our everyday freedom). We are free to choose the good. (We are even free to choose the evil.) And in that freedom is God's glory, for He granted us that freedom so that we could choose to live in HIM.
How easily we forget . . .
