This Codex Sinaiticus is an amazing artifact. I, too would love to see it someday.
The Dead Sea Scrolls, which are even older (2,000+ years old), were in Chicago a few years ago. I was following an older man, who apparently was forced to come see them by his wife. After looking closely at the document in the first case, he harrumphed and said, "Why, these are in some foreign language!"
He was "unclear on the concept"---as they say.
